Guide to Understanding and Answering Questions on Scrum Events
Scrum Events are an essential part of the Agile Project Management approach. They are significant because they provide a framework for regular inspection and adaptation of the development process to ensure it is proceeding smoothly and productively.
What are Scrum Events?
Scrum Events, also known as Scrum ceremonies, are time-boxed events that mark key activities within a Scrum iteration, also known as a Sprint. Scrum Events include: the Sprint itself, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
How do Scrum Events work?
Each Scrum Event has a specific purpose and set of goals. Sprint is the time-box where work is completed. Sprint Planning is where the work for the upcoming Sprint is planned. Daily Scrum is a short meeting for the development team to share updates and plan for the day's work. Sprint Review is where the Scrum Team and stakeholders review the work completed and not completed in the Sprint. Sprint Retrospective is where the team inspects itself and identifies improvements for the next Sprint.

Scrum Events practice test
Scrum Events are time-boxed meetings within the Scrum framework that provide opportunities for the Scrum Team to inspect, adapt, and plan their work. There are five key events: Sprint, which is a fixed period of work, usually two to four weeks long; Sprint Planning, a meeting at the beginning of each Sprint where the team defines the Sprint Goal and selects items from the Product Backlog to include in the Sprint Backlog; Daily Scrum, a short, daily meeting where the team checks in and discusses progress and challenges; Sprint Review, a meeting at the end of each Sprint where the Scrum Team and stakeholders review the Increment and make adjustments to the Product Backlog; and Sprint Retrospective, a meeting after the Sprint Review where the team reflects on the Sprint, identifies areas for improvement, and creates a plan for implementing these improvements.
