Network Services play a crucial role in supporting the operations of modern day businesses and connect millions of people to the global network i.e., the internet.
What is Network Services?
Network Services are standardized applications or set of tasks that run on servers and enable the computers and users within a network to share and access resources effectively. These services could include file sharing, device sharing, print services, email services, internet services, and many more.
Why is it important?
The importance of Network Services in the IT infrastructure lies in enabling seamless communication and sharing of data amongst the various devices in the network enabling effective utilization of resources and improving the overall productivity and efficiency of the network.
How does it work?
Network Services work by facilitating communication between different systems within a network through various protocols. The server sends a request to the client, the client processes the request and then sends the data back to the server.
