Guide on Daily Scrum Meetings: Importance, Concept, Working and Exam Tips
What is Daily Scrum Meeting?
Daily Scrum Meeting is a short time-boxed event where the development team plans work for the next 24 hours. This meeting helps to keep the team synchronized.
Importance of Daily Scrum Meeting
Daily Scrum Meeting is crucial as it improves communication, eliminates other unnecessary meetings, identifies impediments to development for removal, highlights and promotes quick decision-making, and improves the team's level of project knowledge.
How it works?
Each team member briefly answers three questions:
- What did I do yesterday that helped the Development Team meet the Sprint Goal?
- What will I do today to help the Development Team meet the Sprint Goal?
- Do I see any impediment that prevents me or the Development Team from meeting the Sprint Goal?

2. The 3 Questions: Remember the exact three questions discussed in the meeting.
3. Time-boxed: Remember that Daily Scrum Meetings are time-boxed to 15 minutes.
4. Everyone's Role: Only development team members are required to participate.
