Guide: Scrum Review Meeting

What is Scrum Review Meeting? :
A Scrum Review Meeting, also known as a Sprint Review, is an event in Scrums where the Scrum Team and stakeholders inspect the outcome of the Sprint and figure out future adaptations. The Scrum Product Owner leads a sprint review or sprint demonstration.

Why it is important? :
This meeting is a great opportunity to inspect the increment of product developed during the Sprint, adapt the Product Backlog if needed and get feedback. It promotes transparency, inspecting and adapting.

How it works? :
The Sprint Review is held at the end of the Sprint and is timeboxed to a maximum of four hours for a four-week Sprint. For shorter Sprints, the event is usually shorter. It includes the Scrum Team (Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the Development Team) and key stakeholders invited by the Product Owner.

1. Keep in mind the purpose of the Scrum Review Meeting: inspection and adaptation of the increment and Product Backlog.
2. Remember the Product Owner role in the Scrum Review Meeting: leading the event and inviting key stakeholders.

4. Be aware of the timing: it's held at the end of a Sprint and is no more than four hours for a month-long Sprint.
5. Remember that part of the meeting is to discuss what went well and how to improve in the next Sprint.
