Daily Scrum Meeting
The Daily Scrum Meeting, also known as a 'stand-up meeting', is a short 15-minute event that takes place every day. The Scrum Team meets to check on the progress of the project, discussing the work completed the previous day and planning the work to be done the following day. It encourages communication, collaboration, and transparency, as well as quickly identifying and addressing obstacles.
Three Questions
In the Daily Scrum Meeting, each team member usually answers three questions: What did you do yesterday? What will you do today? Are there any impediments in your way? This is an effective way to communicate to the team each member's individual progress and any obstacles they are facing, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
Time-boxed duration
The Daily Scrum Meeting is strictly time-boxed to 15 minutes regardless of the size of the team. This ensures that the meeting remains focused and effective. If a discussion arises that requires more time, it should be set aside and addressed outside of the Daily Scrum. This respect for the meeting's set duration encourages efficiency and productivity.
Sprint Backlog Updates

Impediments Handling
Impediments handling refers to spotting, tracking, and resolving any hindrances that can affect the progress of the Sprint. Definition of Done
The Definition of Done (DoD) is a mutually agreed set of conditions that work must meet to be considered complete. It ensures transparency and quality by providing clear, shared understanding of what it takes to finish a task. In daily Scrum Practices, DoD is employed at every level of work completion, including individual backlog items and overall Sprint Goals. It serves as a checklist and reduces rework by making sure all necessary work is done before labeling any task complete.
