It includes establishing performance measures and metrics, measuring actual solution performance against expected results, analyzing performance measures to identify gaps and trends, assessing solution-level limitations that prevent full value realization, assessing enterprise-level limitations and organizational constraints, and recommending actions to increase solution value including changes, replacements, or retirement.
